29. How to create URL redirects in H-Sphere

This tutorial assumes that you've already logged into your H-Sphere control panel

Now let's learn how to create URL redirects

A URL redirect allows you to redirect visitors from one page to another or even to a different website. When a visitor tries to connect to the redirected URL he or she is taken to the address the URL is redirected to

1) Scroll over Domain Settings

2) Then click Domain Info

This is Domain Information page where you can make additions to the current domain's settings and edit its configuration. If you have more than one domain name you will get a list to choose the necessary domain name

3) Click the edit icon here by Web Service

Scroll down

4) Now click this icon here by Redirect

5) Enter the page title you wish your visitors to be redirected from

6) From here you may choose the correct protocol of the location you want your visitors redirected to

7) Let's choose http protocol in this case

8) Then enter the new location where you want your visitors to be redirected to

9) Click Submit button when finished

10) Now click the Apply link here

We're done! We've successfully created a URL redirect!

You can edit existing URL redirects by clicking here...delete them by clicking the trash icon here...or create additional URL redirects by clicking this icon and follow the process described in this tutorial
