4. How to manage Templates in Joomla

This tutorial assumes you are already logged into your Joomla admin panel

1) Select the Extensions menu item

2) Then down and click on the Template Manager

3) The Template Manager displays both Site and Administrator templates.  Let's change the Location dropdown so we only view Site templates

4) Now let's select the Beez2 template, which is designated as our Default template

We can configure some options for our template here

5) Scroll down to Menus assignment to assign specific menus to this template

6) Scroll up and select the Save button to save any changes made

7) Click on the Templates menu tab

8) Scroll down and click on a template title

Here you will find descriptive information and links to edit template files

Here you can edit the Source Code for this template

9) After making any changes, click the Save & Close button

10) You can also edit stylesheets. Click a link to one of the stylesheets

11) After making any changes be sure to click on a Save button
